Pending Jim's confirmation: 300,000+ participants, 2,400+ projects and $5M+ paid are working numbers. Sources disagree on incentives paid ($5M+ vs $3.5M+). Founded 2015, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.
Awards: Inc. 5000 (2022 at No. 1,267, 2023 at No. 1,398) is the company's. Jim Jacobs is a two-time Philadelphia Titan 100 honoree (2025, 2026), a personal honor, never a company award. Always spell it "Focus Insite".

The red rule
#EC1F26 is 4.38:1 on white, which fails AA for body text. Use it only for display type 24px and up, graphics and fills. Any button or pill with a white label uses #D31921. Text on bright red at body size is #040507, not white. Never put two red elements side by side.
Retired: #D31921 (the old social kit red). Human Layer AI keeps its own palette and never shares a piece with Focus Insite.

Spacing runs on 4px: 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128. Sections use 96px vertical rhythm, content holds to 1200px, prose to 68 characters. Borders define elevation, not shadows. A 3px black rule marks structure. No gradients, no glows, no rotation.
Social exception: the social templates use 6, 8 and 12px radii and 1080×1350 or 1080×1920 canvases, because they are sized for feeds. They keep the same colors, type and one-red rule.

06 · Logo
Focus Insite logo
Focus Insite logo, white version
Use the logo file. Never retype the wordmark, recolor, stretch, rotate or add effects. Clear space on every side is at least the height of the F. Use the white version on ink or photo-free dark grounds. Minimum height in social is 56px. Fi monogram is the compact mark for avatars.
Sub-brands: Get Paid Medical and Human Layer AI have their own logos and never sit beside the Focus Insite logo in the same lockup.
07 · Imagery
Do
Real people in real rooms. Natural light, warm neutral color. Everyday participants and working professionals. Stock and AI images are allowed for generic scenes. Keep red as a shape or text block, never a color cast.
Don't
Never present stock or AI people as real participants, testimonials or named clients. No boardroom handshakes. No medical clichés. No text laid over photos; put it on a solid block beside them. Don't crop event photos or cover sponsor logos. Photos with former staff carry the event name, never "our team".
08 · Voice
Verdict first. Detail second.
Rules
No em dashes and no hyphens as dashes.
Short sentences. One idea per line. Hook first.
Sentence case headlines with full stops.
"We" and "you". Never "the client".
Real numbers only: $150, 45 minutes, 9 in 10.
Spell out acronyms on first use.
No emoji. One exclamation mark at most.
Banned
leverage, synergy, best-in-class, solutions, holistic, cutting-edge, robust, seamless, unlock, circle back, "in today's fast-paced world". Never invent stats, case studies or client names. Never name clients.
Three registers
Participant: incentive first, then time, who qualifies, next step. Say "incentive", never "job".
Client: fast, specific, proof-led.
Government: formal and complete.
Write: $150 for a 2-hour online focus group. Parents of kids 5 to 12. Limit 1 per household.

01
Company awards and personal awards stay separate. Focus Insite is a two-time Inc. 5000 honoree (No. 1,267 in 2022, No. 1,398 in 2023). Jim Jacobs is a two-time Philadelphia Titan 100 honoree (2025 and 2026). Titan 100 belongs to Jim only, never the company.
02
Titan 100 logos keep their own red. Use the black logo on light backgrounds and the white logo on dark ones. Keep event photos uncropped, with sponsor and photographer marks intact.
03
Show rate is "9 in 10." Don't use 98% anymore.
04
Quotes: first name and last initial only. Never name the client's company.
05
Illustrative photos (marked ILLUSTRATIVE) are for supporting use only. Never pair them with a quote or present them as staff. Swap in real photos when you have them.
06
Get Paid Medical uses the same system, with light blue replacing red as the accent color.

Focus Insite Client LinkedIn — Approved Template
33 approved examples. Default source of truth for client-facing LinkedIn graphics.
Rule for all future Focus Insite client LinkedIn graphics
Use these saved designs as the primary visual reference. Match layout, typography, spacing, Focus Insite brand colors, headline treatment, image treatment, CTA placement, logo placement and overall visual style. Change only the content the new post needs.
Do not use for Get Paid, Get Paid Medical, HumanLayer AI, founder or personal posts, or other brands, unless Jim asks.
Common patterns across the set: Focus Insite logo top left with the bids@focusinsite.com or website line top right; one big headline with a red highlight (red bar, red box or red word); a short supporting line; real-people or office photography; a dark footer bar with website, email and a red arrow button.
Flags for Jim: three items in the set do not fit "client-facing". Ref 07 ("After the holidays…") and Ref 01 (subway poster) point to getpaid.focusinsite.com, which is participant-facing. Ref 12 ("Have a study coming up?") still has template placeholder text (reallygreatsite.com, +123-456-7890). Say the word and I'll remove them. Files are numbered because I can't tell them apart by name.

Focus Insite Blog Cover — Approved Template
15 approved examples, 16:9. Source of truth for blog covers.
Rule for all future Focus Insite blog covers
Use these covers as the primary visual reference. Match layout structure, typography hierarchy, headline placement, Focus Insite brand colors, spacing, image and photo treatment, logo placement, graphic elements and the professional B2B style.
Change only the blog title, the subtitle or supporting line, the relevant image, and any topic-specific visual element.
Keep it clean, professional and recognizable as one content system. Do not redesign the style unless Jim asks.
Not for Get Paid, Get Paid Medical, HumanLayer AI, or personal and founder content.
Flags for Jim: the 15 covers fall into four looks (A to D in the labels), so when you ask for a cover, tell me which look to follow. Otherwise I'll default to look A or B, the most current and cleanest: big red numeral or bold headline, thin red rule, logo top left, photo of people on the right. Cover 12 uses gray with a red arrow, and cover 13 has a green ROI arrow, which is off palette, so I won't repeat it. Files are numbered because I can't tell them apart by name.

Purpose and allowed proof
Show concrete evidence that supports Focus Insite's credibility, performance, experience and ability to deliver. Use one of four: a real client quote, a real case study, a verified performance stat, or a real recruiting result. Default format: Hook → Proof → Short context → Why it matters → CTA. The stat, result or quote is the hero. Keep the design clean, minimal and consistent with the Focus Insite brand.

2
Proof
Show what actually happened: the stat, result, case example or quote.
3
Short context
Briefly explain the challenge or situation.
4
Why it matters
Explain what the result means for a research buyer or client.
5

End with a simple, relevant invitation to connect, discuss a project or learn more.
Pick one type of evidence

A real project or case example
A client quote or testimonial
A measurable recruiting result
A difficult project completed
Speed, show rate, reach, verification or other performance data
Visual style
One dominant statistic, result or client quote, with minimal supporting copy. Strong visual hierarchy, Focus Insite branding, clean B2B presentation. Consistent typography, spacing, colors and logo placement. Never crowd the graphic.
Saved templates: 7c (client quote) and 7n (stat), both below. Case study posts 12a and 12b follow the same system.
Hard rules
Never invent statistics, client quotes or case-study results. Use only what Jim provides or what is already approved in this project. Approved source material: the Testimonials PDF and the Case Studies PDF (saved in assets/proof-sources/), the locked proof set and the quote bank. Never invent, exaggerate or alter quotes, stats or results.
Follow the existing client rules: no client company names, first name and last initial.

Keep
Big incentive as the hook ("Earn $200").
Who qualifies as a short checklist.
Date, format and length as icons or rows.
Logo top-center, web address top-right.
Clear "Join Now" button.
Consistent 4:5 size.
Change
Photos look AI-generated (people, pets, clocks). Replace with real photos or the plain-white layout.
Full red backgrounds (1, 2, 6, 20). Brand is mostly white with red as one accent. Use white and one red element.
Squeezed headline font. Letters collide in 9 and 28 ("YOURTIMEGO"). Use Inter with normal spacing.
Text too small on 3, 15 and 27. Details should be readable on a phone.
Two web addresses. Pick one: getpaid.focusinsite.com or www.focusinsite.com.
Incentive wording varies ("$200", "$200+", "up to $550"). Use exact amounts.
Use template 7a for these
Post 25 (Fireplace heater) and post 3 (Bank) already follow the same structure: incentive, who, when. Rebuilding them in 7a keeps her wording and fixes the type and imagery.
Check before posting
Post 11 (lupus) targets a medical condition. It should run under Get Paid Medical with its rules.
Post 15 looks like it recruits educators for a named conference. Confirm the client isn't identifiable.
Post 1 names El Paso and a Spanish-speaker requirement. That's fine, but keep it in the checklist form.
11 · Video style: Jim's "Manufacturing" clip
9 seconds, 576×1024 (9:16). This already works as a Recruiting, Explained format. Lock it in as the pattern.
Three frames from Jim's CEO video
Keep
Study topic as a large header on top (changes per video).
Rounded frame around the speaker, so text stays outside the face.
Captions in short bursts, one keyword in a red pill with italic serif.
Direct call to action: "Click on the link."
Shot outdoors in daylight, plain background.
Fix
The TikTok watermark and handle are burned in (a re-uploaded download). Always post from the original export, never a saved copy.
The header fades and is hard to read on the light background. Use solid dark gray.
The "$150"-style incentive appears only faintly. Show the amount clearly for 2 seconds.
The caption pill sits on the chin. Move it lower, into the safe zone.

Three frames from Jim's Missouri video
Keep
State name as the header. It filters the audience instantly.
Full-screen type breaks (giant outline and red words) to punch a key word and reset attention.
Same caption pills as the Manufacturing clip. Consistent.
Fix
Same burned-in TikTok watermark. Post from the original export.
A business sign (bank logo) shows in the window behind him. Shoot with a plain wall or trees so no business is identifiable.
The frame changes from rounded to full-bleed mid-video. Pick one.
At 20 seconds it's long for a cold viewer. Aim for 9–15 seconds with the ask by second 8.
Betsy's Spanish clip · 32 seconds · 576×1024
Three frames from Betsy's Spanish video
Keep
Spanish captions on screen for a Spanish-speaking audience.
The flyer cutaway in the middle. It shows date, place, format, length and incentive as icons in one glance, and is the best idea in the three clips.
A team member on camera, speaking naturally.
Ends with a clear ask: get in touch.
Fix
At 32 seconds it's too long. Cut to 15–20.
The flyer photos look AI-generated. Rebuild it in template 7a (in Spanish) with a real photo.
Captions run over the flyer's bottom. Keep them in the lower safe zone, clear of the flyer.
The flyer says "El Paso, TX" and a political topic. Confirm the study allows public promotion.
No Focus Insite logo or handle on screen. Add the small logo at the end.
Dim, warm indoor light. Face a window for daylight.
"Chao" is casual. Fine for TikTok, but check the tone with Betsy.
Video checklist for all three
9–20 seconds. Study topic header. Rounded frame. Incentive shown clearly. Original export with no watermark. Logo at the end. Nothing identifying a client behind the speaker.
Panel video outro · 6 seconds · 576×1024
Four frames from the panel video outro
Keep
Three quick asks (Like, Comment, Sign Up), then the address. Simple sequence.
Logo top-center and social icons at the bottom stay fixed, so the eye only tracks the pill.
Ends on getpaid.focusinsite.com, matching the address in the kit.
Fix
Backgrounds flip between dark gray and white each beat. That's jarring. Use white throughout.
The bright orange-red pills don't match brand red #D31921. Recolor them.
The pills are small for a 9:16 screen. Make them about twice the size.
Empty space above and below the pill. Center a larger address at the end.
Six social icons is too many, and the globe and X add nothing. Keep Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
The logo sits in a circle on dark and bare on white. Use one treatment.
The address at the end is the whole point. Hold it for at least 2 seconds.

Fix before posting
Brand names: Case 2 names Uber Eats and DoorDash, and Case 4 names BCBS FEP. These describe the audience, but change them to "food delivery apps" and "a federal health plan" to follow the no-names rule.
Stats: "100% on-time" and "105% of goals" are strong claims. Confirm they're calculated across all projects before using them as blanket stats.
Weak phrases: cut "zero attrition risk". It says nothing specific.
Show rate: the PDF doesn't show it. Use "9 in 10" on the stats post.
The PDF itself
Good as a sales attachment. For social, keep the PDF's structure, but use white backgrounds and Inter to match the kit. It's titled "Red", so check whether there's a lighter version.

These use real photos, which is the right approach. 71 is the cleanest: white background, one big headline, photos uncropped.
The two-line pattern of event name plus city works. Reuse it in 7d.
Fix
Small body text in all four is unreadable on a phone. Cut it to one line.
Text errors in 70 and 73 (words cut off, "Insite s"). Retype.
Headline font in 71 and 73 is a condensed display face. Use Inter.
72 and 73 show a minor. Parents approved the photo. Keep that approval on file.
Sponsor logos on the rink boards are visible. Keep the photo uncropped, per the event photo rule.
Size: 1:1. Use 4:5 (1080×1350) for feeds.

What you need to do
1. Make this project the master
Treat this kit plus assets/brand-design-kit.md as the source. I can only edit this project, not the separate Focus Insite Design System project.
2. Update the Design System project
In that project, change the red tokens to #EC1F26 and #D31921, set the fonts, and change the 9 in 10 show rate to 9 in 10. Open it and ask me to do it there, or send me the file.
3. Send me the Garet font files
Garet is licensed, so I can only use it if you send the files. Without them, headings use Poppins. Switching fonts will shift some layouts, so I would re-check every template.
4. Answer four questions
Official tagline. Confirm $5M+ paid and 98% satisfaction (the site says $3.5M+ and 98.8%). Pick one Human Layer AI palette. Confirm Human Layer AI stays out of this kit.
Voice rules for every caption
Three registers
Panelist: incentive first, next to time, then who qualifies and next step. Say incentive, never job.
Client: fast, specific, proof-led.
Government and RFP: formal and complete.
Plain talk
Short sentences. One idea per line. Strong hook first.
Banned: leverage, synergy, circle back, solutions-driven, unlock.
Never invent stats, case studies or client names.
Every study post
Show the Focus Insite logo or an "A Focus Insite study" line, visible without scrolling. Include who qualifies, format and how to apply. Use only the incentive from that study's approved brief.
Keep brands apart
Focus Insite and Human Layer AI never share a piece. Separate palette, fonts and voice.
